yeah I can't see any bushing...and I'm getting a little vibration from 640 to around 1000 rpm... the shaft/prop is 1month old and they're mint. my gf ate my rope..maybe it chewed up the bushing?

if the boat is smooth above 1000 I highly doubt you have a problem with the bushing... how bad is this vibration (which sounds like it's basically at idle to high idle)?
How 'bout a little reverse action...

You can see the bushing in there, but barely. What does yours look like?

looks about the same. I thought you could see something sticking out.

might have something to do with shaft alignment?

yeah it's super smooth...today it ran like a champ....very little vibration from 650 to 800..that's it. just enough to feel the knob shake a tiny bit.

may be a minor engine misaligment occur if you feel vibration after new prop and shaft are changed, for confirm this, loose all the shaft coupler screws 3/4- 1 turn, this symtom will disapear.

And it never did that before? Does it only do it in gear? In any case it doesn't sound too serious.
