2002 super air speedo and tach went out

I have a 2002 super air and my speedo and tach went out. I was told this was common with the 02 boats. I was also told correct craft had a recall on these and to call and see if the recall has been done on this boat. I am not the original owner so I am not sure what has been done to this boat. Any help would be great. Thanks

    Hi,

If you have green digital gauges they are probably the faulty teleflex gauges you will find tons of posts on if you search...

One question though, are they completely dead, or is the read out just flaky, as in not readable, if its the former then you could have a different issue.

yeah I'm having a hard time reading the speed on my 02 sante.
I keep track of my speed with the PPass gauge.

I had the same issue on my 02 Supersport. I called Teleflex and they sent out a new analog speedo to replace the digital. They will not send another digital to replace it. The other issue was that the bezel did not match the rest of the gauges. I recently put PP on my boat and removed the analog speedo along with all the pickups for the speedo system. If you need to fill the hole where the speedo is currently, CC has a blank that will fill that hole in your dash. I still have the digital tach, and it seems to be holding up but odds are I will be replacing that someday also!!!

fyi, I have a brand new speedo and tach set that matches the 2002 Nautiques. The retail price (if you could still get them) is like $450+ for both of them. If anyone is interested, make me an offer.

                repair digital guages

If you would sent the faulty digital guages (speedo and techo) to Hong Kong,it would be fixed, and return within 3 days ,the hour record on the techo will keep, 100 include sent back, not include sent in flight charge.

I know I'm by far in the minority when it comes to the digital gauges, but I'd be interested in this option to get them repaired, especially if tach hours will not be reset. My gauges are finally starting to get a tad flakey, and I really don't like the look of the replacement analog Faria's. The digital gauges are a unique feature of my era boat I'd like to keep, so if you have any further information on their repair please pass it along.

Anyone else had this repair done?
