Bias ply or radial tires on trailer?

I have a 96 SN trailer with just 2 tires and need to replace them very soon. Any suggestions on a good tire to get? Are radials a better way to go? I drive one way about 35 miles to the lake about 20 times a year. Thanks.

That's the same tire that just blew out! Seriously, they were 8 years old and I'm sure they're a very good tire if SN decided to put them on their new trailers.

Go with radials, they track better and are smoother for the boat/trailer. If you really want to go overboard balance them as well.

Go to www.wakeworld.com and do a search on trailer tires............you will find that ALOT of people are buying the Marathons. Last year I replaced all four tires plus the spare and so far so good!

Won't run any thing else.

Sounds good to me.........for the five I bought I remembered with tax mounting, and everything it was a in the $500 range.
