I am working on getting my 91 nautique steering in order. I have recently changed the steering cable and the steering still seems to be pretty stiff. I started inspection the steering wheel assembly and compared it with my friends 91 nautique and noticed the nut on behind the steering wheel was cracked and when you turn the wheel it moves in two pieces. I believe this is most likely the cause of my steering problems but have no idea how to fix it or even where to find that type of part. Does anyone have any suggestions?
