    Ballast Tanks

I have a 2005 Air Nautique 206 Limited. Right now i have the rear ballast tank and was looking at getting the belly and front ones as well. Where do these tanks get installed from CC, under the floor boards or what.

Sorry I dont have an answer to your Q but i would like to know how much space your rear ballast tanks take up. I would like to get rear ballast rather than a fat sack or a another boat...Our riding is progressing but not yet enough to justify another boat.

Do you have any idea what the ballst tanks (rear or all) cost? Do you have a picture what it looks like? the nearest Nautique dealer is 2hrs away.

Again sorry to answer your questions with three questions

I may be wrong, but I believe CC does not and has not made belly tanks for DD boats. Your probably gonna have to add sacs instead.

the boat already has a tank in it. there is gages for them to as well. i assume they do make tanks for them.

The rear tanks in my 206 take up the entire rear storage locker except for about the top 6 inches. There is enough room to put a rope, some gloves, soap, ballast pump in there, but that's it.

I put a sac in the belly of my 206 and it did not make the wake more vert, but more meaty. I found if you fill up the belly it makes the weight distribution front to back about 50/50. (400lbs belly, 400 lbs. rear) So far I have found that the extra weight in the belly doesn't really help me - I can do all my tricks with standard ballast with 3 or 4 people in the boat, but I haven't really had a chance to mess with it to see if I can get it dialed better.

          I guess I've decided that if I want a bigger wake I need to get a 211.

My 206 has no tanks and I'm thinking that compartment is an arm length deep...so you must be losing about 12 to 14 " inches of depth.
