The digital numbers are no longer clear, does this mean I need a new display unit?

Go into the setup screen and change the contrast setting.

I recently had to have my display refurb'd by PP for this very reason. I believe they charged me $79 to refurb it.

not wearing polarized shades are ya?
just checking, because i thought my xm radio was seriously messed up for a little while until i realized my shades were blotching the lcd.....

the problem is not with the contrast but the letters and numbers are not fully clear. An 8 looks like a 0 and a 7 looks like a 1. The numbers are not fully showing.
