    What is this?

I found this in the bottom of my new 210. It was just laying out loose. There is another one mounted in a through hull fitting close to the ballast/cooling through hulls. Anybody know what it is and what it does?

That is the dummy plug for the PP paddlewheel. The other one is the PP paddlewheel. The intention was to remove the paddelwheel while trailoring and insert the plug to keep the paddlewheel from spinning . I've never removed mine and not noticed any ill effects.

Great question, we found one of those in our glove box. I wondered what it was, but hadn't thought to ask yet. We have ZO, so I guess it is not an issue. Thanks for asking!

I've only really looked at one new boat on the bottom, but it had a paddlewheel as well. I think it's used for the speedo now you there should be a use for it still, but like I said I don't think it's that big of a deal.
