Hello all-
Just got off the phone with Mark at PCM Engine Group. John Givens at Correct Craft said they would be the authority in this matter. Mark said that as long as you have the 5/8" spark plugs, run "unleaded gas all day long". So, if you have to use the 13/16" socket to remove your plugs, keep putting in the lead additive. He asked what boat I had and said I didn't need the lead. I was interested to find the answer for everyone, and asked how to tell on any PCM engine whether you need the lead. Thus, the spark plug identifier.
Small plug=unleaded
Large plug=lead
Hope this helps everyone. Have a great day on the water.
Gary
