Just bought boat, prop slightly damaged but is a practicaly brand new acme 540 3 blade. I can't check speed and rpm because of the prop.
60% wakeboarding and kneeboarding 30% tubing 10% cruising. Have not added weigh. The last boat I owned was a 87 2001 in the early 90's so alot has changed since then. I love the wake behind my 80 i just wanted to know if I was going to have to buy a new prop what would be the best for my needs. I also saw where you can send your damaged prop in for repair. What do you know about this process?
Stick with that 540, I think it would fit your needs perfectly on that hull. You should be able to get it repaired for +/- $100. Try Delta Propeller- theyre a site sponsor.
