    Interior Cleaner

I'm sure this has been covered plenty and if someone can direct me to that post I would appreciate it. I can't find it. What is the best general purpose cleaner for upholstery? Should a soft brush be used or just spray something on and wipe off?
    Thanks.

I have heard guys raving about equisite cleaner on ebay that can be bought by the gallon. I use mirror glaze heavy cut vinyl cleaner on tough stuff and treat after with 303

Forgive my ignorance, but what is 303? Who makes it?

Thanks for the link. That was the thread I was looking for.

The paperwork that came with my new 220 suggested EPHX vinyl cleaner. It was developed by a large marine vinyl company. I bought some and it works very well for cleaning. I still use 303 for protection.

It was developed by the same company that supplies the vinyl for Correct Craft (and much of the marine industry), G&T Industries. Its the only vinyl cleaner approved for use on CC vinyl- and it does work very well. White Lake Marine has a very good price on it.

Thanks for the info. Do any major retailers carry the ephx or do I need to order it online?

Looks like Pontoon Specialists has the best price (from a quick google search), but I don't know about shipping. You only save a couple of bucks anyway.

Don't you just use the magic erasers on individual stains or can they be used for general cleaning of all the upholstery? I read a thread over on correctcraftfan that said magic erasers were hard on the vinyl. Anybody agree with that?

In my oppinion I would think the cemicals in the magic eraser, over a period of long term use would dry out the vinyl... Any thing i use is highly deluted and works very efficiently.

what i don't like about all this garbage is that its full of chemicals that you will absorb through your skin. theres plenty on the topic of household cleaners being dangerous as you absorb them. i think this is even more of an issue on a boat as you're just about naked while you're sitting on this stuff. i just used hot water with a small squirt of dishsoap and about a half cup of vinegar! my vinyl came out just as good as if i used any chemical garbage. save your money for 3 gallons of gas!
