    Sticky fuel gauge

My fuel gauge sticks at about 1/2 full on the way down. I bang it a few times (with my knuckle) and it bounces back to the correct reading. Can this be fixed or should I just replace the gauge?

they had problems with the senders

i knew i was opening the door for those types of comments. :-) Are you saying to replace the gauge as the sender is part of the gauge?

no u need to pull the sender out
turn on the key and play with the sender and watch the gauge
