Cost of Sport Nautique Decals?

Anybody have any experience with ordering new boat decals?

I just checked on the cost for new "Sport Nautique" lettering for the sides of our '93. Quoted me $97 per side. Seems kind of high! Is this typical?

Now I'm debating taking off the existing lettering that is curling up from the bottom and leaving it bare.

Any feedback appreciated.

We replaced our '92 decals in '97 (long story).... it was about $100.00 per side then................Hope that helps w/ perspective..........

I am a graphic design grad and know a little bit about this topic. The cost is about average. Printing in color is very expensive. When you add the issue of a high quality material to withstand weather and then printing on this material it can get expensive. I just custom made an air grapic for my boat and the dimensions were 46" by 18" in color. It cost $130.

The decals will last around 5 to seven years and look cool as well.
