    water leak between hull and prop shaft

    (08 220) After i trailer boat home i use the fresh water flush with the pressure reducer supplied by cc and today noticed a lot of water coming out of the same fitting that the prop shaft exits the hull through is this right or is there a problem, it has the zr6

    Thats normal, you have the dripless packing gland fitted, it uses cooling water from the raw water side of the cooling system to lube the shaft at the entry point of the hull.

      Thanks whataboat, forgot to mention dripless packing gland, have a lake bookd for 3 days from tomorrow, massive relief so thanks a million i can sleep well tonight

        I guess it's not dripless then....it just drips out of the boat instead of into the boat.

                I know the one you mean, back end of Ashton Keeynes. Also another one that you can rent in Lechlade, I believe it is a bit bigger.
