08 211Team zero off looses sat signal at wakesurf speeds

Brand New 08 211 Team with early version of zero off (2815 ser number, E1886100J software) Lake Placid FL, small to mid size lake. When wake surfing (9.5 mph) the gauge will show no signal, then accellerate up and down, then maybe get it back, and then loose it again. we have been trying different parts of the lake and different times of the day to figure it out. Blue skies, no unusual bimini or tower configuration. One antennajust in front of the drivers window. I have 3 historical error codes: CAN link failure, System est data to sub for primary gps, sys detects unusual variation in gps position measurement.

I am not convinced that updating the firmware will help, as the bug fixes seem to deal more with rivers and slalom courses. It is frustrating and i wish i had the option to use a paddle wheel. i have thought about using rpm, but the problem doesn't always happen, it is sporatic. maybe one session every 5.

anyone have any similar experiences or suggestions. thanks

zero off has suggested, in this order: upgrade the software version, change out the antenna to the newer more sensitive antenna, move the antenna away from the tower post, add a second antenna.

I have a 07 211 and just upgraded my PP to Stargazer (GPS) I have had no problems wakesurfing. When I bought the upgrade the guy at the boat store said they have some trouble with Zero Off with customer service. Let us know what your experience is with customer service.

I do not have a GPS based speed control system, but I have had a handheld GPS receiver for a few years.
Occasionally is does "lose satelights" and is unable to display speed, or any other data, other than the time of day.
My GPS receiver does seem to get the greatest signal strength when I am on top of a hill, but unfortiunately, boats tend to be in valleys, partially filled with water, not the optimum location for receiving GPS signals.
