Winterized our 89 Ski Nautique fine for ten years, Now own a 2001 Air Nautique with GT40 Engine. I see the drain plug in the elbow for the raw waterpump, The plugs in the exhaust risers, but don't see any plugs on the port or starboard side of the engine block. The only way I see to drain is through the lower heater hose? Are there any other plugs?

RE: Winterization Drain Plugs
Perhaps you have a heater going to one drain plug, and the shower hose going to the other. You most likely had the exact same block in your 89, so the drain holes are in the same spot- one on each side of the engine block. Take off each hose to drain the block in that case. I usually blow air through the heater hose as well just to make sure that most of the water is out of the heater core before pickling it with PG A/F. You'll want to draw some A/F through that shower too if you have one.

RE: Winterization Drain Plugs
RJP56 -as M3Fan points out there are 5 plugs on the engine itself: 2 large plugs on the exhaust manifolds, the water pump elbow, and on the port and starboard side of the block. The lower plugs on the block are harder to see.
I have the exact same year and engine, and my heater is connected to the port side block plug, it has a brass elbow fitting screwed into the drain plug hole which the return heater line slips onto, just loosen the clamp and pull the hose off to drain both the block and the heater. You might have to crawl into the storage bay with the dividers out to see the starboard side plug.
Don't forget there are two small square head drain plugs on the vdrive and one on the transmission cooler - just follow the water hoses from the Raw water strainer and you will come across the inline TC on the starboard side. The vdrive can be accessed via the panel under the center of the back seat.
