    Boat Cover Question

This may be an odd question. I have concerns about the die in my boat cover bleeding onto the sun deck upholstery over the winter. Black cover, white interior. Is this possible? If so any solution?

    RE: Boat Cover Question

I don't think the material bleeds but it is possible the stitching may.
To keep the cover off the sun deck (for ventilation mostly) I use a pool noodle layed across the deck.Does pool noodle make sense? are they called pool noodles over there?

      RE: Boat Cover Question

My guess would be if it is a good quality cover, supplied by your CC dealer with your boat, you shouldn't have to worry about it.

They are called pull noodles over here. That's a good idea. I was also thinking of covering it with plastic between the cover and the deck, but I'm afraid that will hold moisture and cause mildew.
ranger3: The cover was provided by the dealer but it is after market.
Does correct craft even make covers?

you are correct that plastic can cause mildew if there is any condensation.

The cover I have now is a " official nautique" cover with the logo on it, but I dont know who actually manufactured it for CC. It came with the boat

Mine is not made by CC, but it appears to be sunbrella (sp) material. What I meant was, I wouldn't think a CC dealer would provide you with a cover that would harm your vinyl. So far, I've had no issues and our boat is kept outside all the time.

Thanks for the comments. ranger: I think mine is also sunbrella. It's good to know yours stays outside with no issues. Thanks.
