How to dye nylon covers on trailer poles?

On the back of the trailer are 2 vertical poles (one on each side) that help to guide in the boat as I'm steering it onto the trailer. They have a black nylon cover which is mid color gray now. The nylon is in good shape. How can I dye or paint the nylon so it will look black again?

    Thanks for your help,
    Jim

    Jim,

Go to your nearest CC dealer and they would probably give you some new ones with their logo on there. If not, they have to be pretty cheap. The one's on our 211 started to fade pretty bad, so we started storing them inside the boat when it was parked.
