Here is a tricky one to follow
I own a 2004 Super Sport 210 nautique, it is identical to the SAN 210 of the same generation with tower and all, only it came without the ballast tanks. Since the popularity of Wakesurfing has shifted the focus of our boat use I have been trying to figure out how much weight the boat can handle for this reason:
The Manufacturer and US coast Guard warning / advisory next to the throttle on my super sport 210 says that the maximum weight and or persons on the boat is 10 persons or 1450 lbs and this accounts for any factory installed ballast systems.
However in picutures on this forum I have noticed that owners of 210 SAN's warning label has the same weight maximum.
My question is:
Is my "warning / advisory" label just a standardized label for this Hull / boat and does not really account for the fact that my boat does not have ballast like the Super Air Nautique?
Therefore "in theory" i could add the additional weight of a SAN ballast system to my 1450Ibs maximum?because my advisory isn't really specific to my boat.
hopefully someone can shed some insight into the matter and thus save me from the reprocussions associated with asking the ladies to weigh in every time i have my launch pads filled.
The Hull is the same as SAN 210 of the same years
