Does anyone know the conversion for a PCM oilfilter RO77001? I really dont want to drive 75 miles round trip to the boat dealer to pick up a filter. There has got to be a suitable Fram or other name brand filter for this application?? Please help!

RE: Oil Filter for 2006 SV211 PCM 5.7 (330 horse)
If you have the remote filter.....(I believe you do) ....it is the "legacy" Ford oil filter...meaning the filter that fit almost every ford ever made prior to the modern engines that now get a special/unique filter. Here is a list by mfg for remote mount filter:
FRAM Part # PH8A
ACDELCO Part # PF2
WIX Part # 51515
Motorcraft Part # FL1A
If your brand is not there, look up a filter for a 1990 Ford F-150 with a 302 V8.
You can also look up a 1960 Ford also...same filter...but the computer doodad at Walmart is not going to go back that far.

We are doing okay...Especially today...spending the weekend at the world's greatest water park.
Sat was just the daughter and me....Sunday mom and the boy show up.
At home, our fences are down and already cleaned up. For the rest, a million without power and about a hundred thousand without a home. Most homes on the coast washed to sea or crumbled....not sure how many people were in them at the time. Nobody is talking about that yet. There were survivers who rode out the storm riding staircase landings, picnic tables, plywood, etc.
Only time will tell and some prayer will help.

A hurricane hits, and then to recover, you go to a water park? I think there is a water park in California named "Hurricane Harbor".
I would not use a Fram filter. I believe the OEM filters are a much higher quality.
I have several Ford motors, in boats and cars, and so I buy the FL1-A several at a time. If you do not want to use a Ford filter, use the AC/Delco one.

Great thing,
Only the Fram filter fits. And the OEM of course.
Other filters are 1/2" longer. Therefore not possible / impossible to position it inline between the exhaust manifold and the filterhousing. You will see when its unscrewed and barley toutches the exhuast manifold.
Thats why the Fram fits and many others do not fit.

If you are near san ramon come on by, I'll toss you a wix 51515. I bought a case of nice shiny black filters that match the motor, I can spare one or two.
