Just go to Lowe's and get some of their outdoor carpet glue.

Don't get just any indoor outdoor ahesive!! I know several have done this and regretted it because it softened up when it got wet. Big time mess!

Look for Henry 263 Weather Pro. It is truly waterproof.

Lowe's outdoor carpet glue will work fine. No regrets.

Pete, the only outdoor carpet glue that Lowes carries is the Henry's- at least thats been my experience. Cant be sure, but I bet its the 263 that youre recommending. Its worked great for the 2 Correct Crafts Ive done.

            Tim,
Henry makes several adhesives labled as indoor-outdoor but it's the 263 that is the only one that is rated as "water proof" and not just "water resistant". Before I laid my new carpet in the Tique, I went to a friend in the carpet business. He was the one who told me the 263 was the only one to use. He had some bad experiences with the others. It cost him big time with having to recarpet several outdoor patios before he learned!! Don't forget about Alan's problem too! I'll see him tomorrow evening and i'll ask him what he used the first time.

Im guessing that Henry 663 isnt the same?

I havent found the 263 in the UK yet!

I checked this weekend and I used the 663. No problems to report on either boat- but Id keep it dry for a few weeks after the install, if possible.
