Leave unbuffed WAX on all winter...

I used Meguiar’s M6732 Marine WAX for my boat. It creates a deep glossy finish.
It has been made specially to get rid of difficult stains caused due to oxidation, water, and scratches.

I agree with most. Don’t leave the wax on all winter, too risky with grit sticking too it before buffing. Once it’s waxed, if it gets a little dirty over the winter it will be super easy to clean come spring. So no matter.

Im keeping it out side.. any ideas on how to keep the sun off of it?

Buy or have side skirts sewn onto your cover and its protected from the sun all year long. In my opinion this should be the standard for all covers. Leaving wax on makes not sense. If necessary just wax again in the spring.

For those of you replying to this thread now, please take note that this thread is over a decade old. I doubt the original poster (who hasn't even logged in here in almost ten years) still needs answers to his questions about leaving wax on all winter.
