Air & Water Temp Sensor locations ??

I assume all CC with the Faria gauges must have the same sensors, I have a 2003 Nautique Limited 226 and the water temp reading is just not correct. Where are the air and water sensors?

2002-2005 the lake temp sensor is T'd into the raw water inlet tube between the strainer and the through hull fitting. It screws into that T and the wires run back to the Faria gateway box in the trunk. Nautiques of Orlando quoted me $24 for a new sensor.

I've got a 2002 Sport Nautique. I'm not getting any reading at all for the air or water temperature. Does this sound like a sensor issue or an electrical problem?

I bet it's built into the gateway box that's in the trunk.

Proud2be............it is an option on some boats, are you sure you have it. Generally if you have no reading its not installed....not sure what you are seeing on your display...blanks ????

Jaybird.....Yes, I had my air/water temp display working correctly the first two years after I bought my boat used in 06/07. This summer, it did not work. Not seeing any digital numbers or anything on the digital display.

                Thanks,
