    2001 SN Starter Relay wiring

    Hi,

    Removed my faulty starter relay, what a job! Messed up now as don't know where to put the wires back, does anyone have a simple diagram....please help. Regards, Greg

            Thanks Richard, that is very informative and helpful. Are you by any chance familiar with "GT40 ignition timing"? See my later post of same title. I have ordered a new Harmonic balancer anyways.... Greg

              I never adjust the timming of my GT-40,seems it's not need for it, for what you need calibrate the timming?

                  The obvious way to check this is to take out your number 1 spark plug and roll your engine until the pistion is at the top of the stroke. Use a screwdriver (with a handle bigger in diameter than a spark plug so you don't drop it down the hole) to monitor the location of the piston. Don't scratch up the top of your piston.

                  Your timing grove should then align with the 0deg or TDC index. If its way off, you'll know. If it is a little off, triple check the location of your piston and make sure it is all the way up.
