Hey folks - just got my new Cover Sports Cover last night for my 210. ITs pretty much the same exact cover as the Rankin cover and the evolution cover. Got it from Brent in Washington whom I think was partners with the guy who does the evolution covers for Mali's.
Anyway - my question is regarding the "rail grabs" that velcro underneath the cover and kinda grab the rubrail. Are these necessary? Do you all use them? I have them on right now, and to me it seems as though with them on, there are gaps between the cover and the boat. Wouldnt it be better not using them, then the rope that you tighten - tightens right onto the boat itself - leaving no gaps?
Dont the gaps allow for air/moisture to come into the boat? Is it good having gaps like that, or wouldnt it be better not having any at all?
