Wondering if I have to take out the complete gauge or if there is a control box that is under the dash that the special update cable plugs into. My dealer is going to send back to zero off to get updated and I was wondering what I need to take to the dealer.

RE: How do you access zero off for updates
Is this something the dealer has to do, or can anybody connect up and upgrade their own?

RE: How do you access zero off for updates
You could do it yourself if you have the cable to hook up to it, but it costs around $200.00.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

Your dealer may be able to loan you the cable if they have it. Mine didn't, so I took the boat to West Coast CC and they used their cable to upgrade my firmware. It took a few minutes.
I talked with ZO about upgrades and my recollection is that you can send the unit to them and they'll upgrade the firmware for you.Previous boats:
