RE: 2006 AIR NAUTIQUE 210 STUFFING BOX
I am shocked that an 06 does not have a dripless packing system. Are you sure the water is coming from there and not the rudder?2001 Super Air Nautique

RE: 2006 AIR NAUTIQUE 210 STUFFING BOX
Definately coming in through the propshaft stuffing box I can just manage to see the fittings, old style, not dripless packing system. Any idea which is the best way to reach it. I am thinking to remove the complete rear seat assembly or remove a ballast tank, either way access is limited.

RE: 2006 AIR NAUTIQUE 210 STUFFING BOX
I just did my 2003 226, its a bitch. I removed the false floor over the starboard ballast tank and the panels separating the storage compartment form the engine and crawled into the rear storage area. The ballast tank is tapered toward the engine to allow better access. I did most by feel but did manage a view when absolutely necessary. I’m 5'-8" 155 lbs. Anyone 200 lbs I don’t know if it could be done unless you remove the ballast tank completely. It’s no easy task in a V-drive. Good Luck2012 Team Ski Nautique ZR409

dwsa,
Left hand????? My 2003 has a RH rotation but you have the LH rotation thus I guess they changed the packing gland thread. Sorry I had no idea it had changed or I would have alerted you. Mine is right hand thread.2012 Team Ski Nautique ZR409
