    motor stalling around wakeboarding speeds.

last summer i had a new s&s 351w put in my boat (1983 ski centurion 19ft) there is a 4 barrel edelbrock carb on the boat. boat ran wonderful at all speeds before the new motor. the boat idles great now, accelerates great, runs at top speed great as well. but around wakeboarding speeds (17-20 mph for us) the boat seems to miss or studder but does not stall out. is this a carb issue or a timing issue or something else, like i said the boat seems to run great at all other speeds and idle. thanks again, also the motor has about 250-300 hours and ive been relegious about oil/filter changes especially on the the first 100 hours and broke it in very soft and gentle. summer is almost here, trying to get everything ready.

    try running it without towing
if it still does it, carb needs an adjust
