My 01 SAN GT40 has had an oil leak near the front of the engine. It is pretty minor but still an oil leak. I took it to California Correct Craft to get it fixed and it turns out they will have to pull the motor to fix it, which is going to cost $750! ouch. They told me that I could leave it and it probably wont get any worse than it is. They said it was a pretty common leak on a GT40, has anyone else had this problem? If so are there any alternatives to pulling the motor? Im pretty handy but dont think that is in my scope of handiness. I also am the type of person that cant just let an oil leak be there. So if I cant figure anything out im just going to bite the bullet and have them fix it.

I had some pictures but my laptop crashed, they may still be on my camera. They do not however show where the leak originates. The only thing I can see is where it is dripping offf of the motor into the bilge. The dealership is supposed to look at it today and give me a call to tell me exactly whats up. Ill try to get those pics and post what they tell me.
