depth gauge setting memory

done a bit o searching, but can't seem to find the answer on here. We've got a 03 210 ltd, now I set the depth gauge to read in metres and all's good, but if I turn the motor off, then restart it reverts back to feet, is this normal, do I have to change it everytime I start the motor?

also is there any way to change the air and water temp read out to be in celcius?

G'day Stu, can't really help, its something i keep meaning to look into also. I don't mind the depth gauge in feet (must be a bit older than you) but I can't get a handle on the temperatures. The only farenheit I can remember was that when it was over one hundred it was bloody hot!
