glass repairs

just purchased a 98 nautique. at the transom there are two small dings in the glass that I would like to repair. What is the correct name for the glass and gel coating? Any information on repair techniques and or kits, brand naame products etc, would be appreciated very much.

As I understand it the part of the hull you see is the gel coat. The fiberglass is the support under the gel coat. Go to www.nautiques.com which is the Correct Craft web site and take the plant tour. Very interesting.
