LCS? How do I know if I have it?

I just bought a 2000 Ski Nautique 196 and on the dash pod it has controls for the LCS? Dumb question, but don't know where to look...how do I find out if this boat has the LCS...or did all of them come with the same dash pod regardless if they have LCS or not?

LCS should be Launch Control System. It is what Correct Craft Calls its hard ballast tanks. I'm guessing in a Ski Nautique you do not have a Launch Control System. ICBW. BKH

Correct Craft just used the same dash on all the boat models made in that year. The up and down arrows are for raising the rear hatch, something only on the (classic) Super Air.

I know that those buttons were for the Launch Control System, I just don't understand why they would be wired and have power if there is nothing attached to them. I know from reading on here that the 2003 Nautiques had trick tanks, but don't know anything about the 2000s.

From a manufacturing and assembly perspective it's much cheaper to have one dashpod that is fully wired that fits all boats as opposed to having to manufacture and store multiple configurations.

Plus it makes the installation of options after market easier since the wiring harness on the dash side is all set to go. Same thing with the heater/shower controls, they are wired and alive on the dashpod even if you don't have one installed.
