    Fuel Gauge Problem

The fuel gauge on my 2000 SAN is stuck on empty. Occasionally it'll read the right amount of fuel, but usually it just stays on E. Since the gauge will move from time to time, I dont think the gauge itself is broken.

Do you think the fuel sender in the gas tank needs to be replaced?

    RE: Fuel Gauge Problem

Yes I certainly do. Easy fix.
Just to check it though. take it out of the tank and move the float up and down while watching your gauge. It could just be getting stuck.
