im trying to find the spot on the engine, where i can find the hours, for the 1998 Air Nautique.

If it is the GT-40 engine, the Ford engine ECMs do not store hours or any engine information for that matter. You have to go to the Excaliburs or ZR6s to be able to load engine data/hours. Hope that helps!

If you are simply looking for your hour meter it should be a rectangular window in the tach, or one of the other gauges in the instrument cluster.
