Help removing driver seat back cushion

Anyone know how the drivers seat back cushion is attached to the seat back? 1999 Super Sport. I need to remove the three bolster piece so I can reskin the entire seat. Can't see any screws and it won't just pull off by lifting straight up. I wonder if there are screws behind the main seat vinyl?

If it is like my 2000 Sport, there are screws that are put in through the backrest by cutting small hole in the sides of the back rest. when I figured it out I just used the same holes and found the screws. Not sure why Nautique would do it this way, seems like there would be a better way of keeping the backrest in place.

I am working on the seats from a 1987, and 1992 Hydrodyne. It is the same. The inner seat back cushion is held with screws that go through small holes on the bottom of the fold in the seat back.

I got mine apart...there were four screws. Two at the top access via holes in the side of the upper bolster and two at the bottom of the middle bolster, again acessed through holes in the vinyl. Man I hate to punch holes in my new skins.

David, I am working on this part now. Do you have any pictures of the holes and their location? I'm trying to figure out how CC was able to put this vinyl on without punching holes, because the skins on there now have no such holes or evidence of repaired holes.

If this is put together the way I think, I am thinking about just using industrial strength velcro to hold the back rest cushion board to the seat... that is assuming there is a separate board that holds the 3 backrest cushions to the main seat back.

Mine had four screws. I put it back together only using two of the four. They are/were located:

                1. sides of the top bolster. Push in the side of the bolster and you will see holes in the vinyl. Insert the phillips screwdriver in the holes and fish around for the screw head. I did not replace these screws because the upper clips held the top of the board tight enough.
                2. Between the middle and bottom bolster. Spread this seam and look for the holes in the vinyl. I replaced these screws and the asssembly is helf tight.

Once all screws are removed, the board slids up and free.

Yes, the three backrest bolsters are mounted on a seperate board.
