    transmission grind?

I'm not sure if it's the trans, but last time I had the boat out (03 SANTE), when I took it out of gear in forward and reverse, there was a quick grinding sound. The boat doesn't do it every time, just once in a while. I've only had it for a few weeks, so a grinding sound from the trans. area is nerveracking for sure. All fluids are good, trans linkage looks good, no sticking on the throttle. Suggestions? The sound last for a few seconds when it does make a sound.

    RE: transmission grind?

Make sure your prop is on nice and snug, this was the culprit in my case...
