6 days and counting til I get to drive mine. I can barely contain myself. Finally........... has been 6.5 months since I put her to bed for the winter.

Congrats on the boat. How about some better pics? I use an F350 dually to tow. Don't even know it is back there.

Wrap it and deduct the cost of the boat and wrap as a section 179 business expense!

Sounds like you had a lot of fun trading on this one!

it was a fun weekend. i think it is the hunt sometimes that is the most fun. now if the weather would just straighten up and let us get some water time. It was in the 30's this morning . . .

I still want to have a marina or boat dealership on Smith Lake someday . . . Probably just used inboards . . . buy em all winter and have a good stock in the spring . . . have a good mechanic and good detail man and travel the country picking them up . . . kind of been doing this anyway since about 93 . . . have lost count but it is over 60 not counting all the wally pontoons we sold at Lakeshore . . .actually saw a deal on one of those on Craigslist in Birmingham yesterday and will be coming that way if the deal is real

You are way ahead of me.. i think i am on my 21st Correct Craft, but have two of the best ever made for this season. I can't hardly bring myself to sell either one, so i think i am going to keep the 196 for a couple of years and make it a college fund for my sophomore in high school. I think it will fetch the first year of education expenses for her and I can still ski on it and not see it go to half its value like the 529 plan. Besides you can't enjoy a paper 529 like a Nautiqe 529 plan. I will join you on the deal at Smith Lake. When are you ready to get started? I have some land in mind if you get serious. Let me know on the craigslist deal if you want me to inspect it.

Ha. I will be passing mine out tomorrow night. 48 hours and counting.

I did get the Mustang out for a trial run Tuesday night. Couple little issues from the resto project, but she runs fast and smooth.

there is a tough looking all red mustang on CCFAN that i am having a hard time passing up on. It looks like a steal at $3995!!!

Took the pinstripes off of the SAN yesterday so it is now all white with just the big air and the other misc decals on the back. Looks a little plain. considering taking them all off and giving it a good buffing. .. will have to buff where the stripes were anyway . . . will post photos soon

Congrats on the boat. I agree with the mobil 1 synthetic. Conventional oils were thinning after high rpm runs and I would get a drastic oil pressure reduction after I would back off. Went to straight 50w mobil one. Oil pressures like a rock now. Keep an eye on the oil level. It will use oil. I also run premium fuel in mine. Worth the extra money.

inboard60, I think I know which boat you mean. 351? Dad never told his buddys why it went fast story?
I like that boat a lot but there are a couple things about it... Not bashing about it at all, I wanted to buy it, but there nicer boats out there. There is an immaculate Skylark near me that I think is a way better boat. PM me if you want.
