    distorted gel color, best fix?

I have been debating taking some of my stickers on my boat. I have already took off a couple small ones but the gel coloring is a lot more vibrant under the stickers (obviously) and duller in exposed areas. I know you can wet sand chalking and fading but can it bring back the coloring or is that deeper than just the surface?

My boat was chalky and faded when I bought it and spent 20 hours working the hull to shine using rubbing combounds, but it never brought the color back. Can it be sanded to its former glory? Is there another way?

It can be sanded to its former glory but go easy. Take as little off as you have to. I have a few spots that are pretty thin on my boat now, but I have bright new looking gel!

You need to wetsand it. It will look like new afterwards. Do a search and will find plenty of good instruction on how to do this.
