Anybody have any good advice for which prop I should buy for my 2004 SAN 210 team edition? I live in Salt Lake and do most of my boating up on the mountain lakes. I've got a low elevation prop right now and my hole shot is hurtin.

RE: Propeller suggestions for 2004 Air Nautique 210 TE
What are you running now? Is it the 644 ACME? When I was thinking about 'upgrading' I spoke to one of the guys at ACME. He suggested that if I was riding w/ a ton of extra weight and pretty much only wakeboarding/ surfing I should get a 1594. "you could pull tree stumps" with that prop. the negative is you loose at the top end. So if you Barefoot, prob not the prop for you. Also, The people at ACME are great, I'm sure they would answer any questions you might have. 1-888-661-ACME or http://www.acmemarine.com
Good luck with your search.

i have a 1464. with 2500lbs+ it gets on plane like it has no weight in the boat. the only draw back is the top speed w/ rpm's just under 4000 is 30mph and you run the same rpms w/ or w/o weight. it does lower the running rpms by about 400 w/ alot of weight opposed to the 644.

you don't want the 1464 with your setup. and to get a nice wake you need to add some more weight. put like 300lbs in the bow and 4-600 on the floor against the back seat. im sure there is something w/ more torque than what you have now, but 1464 is way overkill. i got a few dings on my 1464 and went back to the oem prop and with 2000lbs on top of factory ballast it still does ok. if you turn the boat left and right a little while getting on plane it helps out a little bit.

i went out saturday in a 210 w/ the ex 330 and stock prop. it was weighted as follows.
900+ bow sac, pair of wedge sacs, factory ballast, about 100lb of lead, and 5 dudes and a chick totalling in at somewhere around 900+/-. 24.5mph at 85' with a beautiful wake. it took FOREVER to plane off. about 20-30 seconds i'd guess. at speed boat ran about 3500-3600 rpm's and burned a ton of gas. just wanted to let ya' know it can handle some weight, but you might as well get a better pitched one and keep your current as a spare.

Propeller for 2004 Air Nautique 210 TE
Thanks for all your comments and suggestions for my propeller, I ended up buying the 1236 ACME after quite a few conversations with the ACME folks. If anybody would like my low elevation prop, the ACME 816, it is for sale. It is a 13.5X17.5VR 1 1/8

Put it at a fair price and it will soon find a new home.
I sold my 470 like that even in the off season.
