Anyone know the easiest way to replace the bow speaker covers. I just bought an 03 san and the speaker covers had a few small tears in them on the bow. My dealer has ordered me 2 new speaker covers but I was looking at it tonight and it appears I may have to take the whole bow cushion out just to change these covers. Is this correct? It looks like a lot of work if that is the case. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I believe someone on this site wanted to replace the speakers in the bow, and if i remember correctly, getting to the back of that panel is a pain. Maybe skinautique or midohionautiques can offer some further information. Hopefully they'll jump in here.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. whitlecj,
I hope you have alot of patience!!! As Jeff stated, it is a pain to remove that section to change the grills out. It is one big piece that goes all of the way around. If the tears are small, I would recommend not doing anything with it!! As for getting them off, I have never done it but if NMS1991 looks at this post, he will be able to fill you in on how to do it.

How to remove the bow of a 2003 210
Remove the kick board, find at the top of the splash on either side one screw, back the screw out until the pad comes free, but try to leave the screw in the hole so you don't have to find it latter.
Open the love seat and find, in the same location the screws, a third screw will be found at the bottom of the splash near the walk-thru area.
Use a 7/16" wrench and slid your hand up between the hull and deck behind the cup holders, you will feel a stud with a nut on it, remove the nut from each side of the boat.
At the center forward section of the bow there is a stud holding the bow down to the deck, remove this stud as well.
Around the deck are clips holding the splash, so you will have to lift to get the part out.
Hope this helps
Good Luck
