    04 210 Starting Issues

So I took the new to me 04 210 out on the water this weekend for the second time. I turn both battery switches off while storing. Once at the lake, turn one on, flip the master switch, and enter my code, and get the accessories on. When immediately trying to start the motor, I get nothing. The check engine light stays on for about 20-30 seconds after the accessories come on, then it will let me start. It's been about 3 of 4 weeks since I took it out last, and do not remember having this issue. We stopped the boat a few times in the middle of the lake cause I wanted to test it out after running for a while. Same problem, but sometimes the hold period before being able to start would be shorter or longer.

Is this a typical issue? Bought the boat from a boat broker, so he didn't really know the service history for the boat prior to me buying it. My first Nautique, so unsure how they run or if this is normal. Any help is appreciated!!

Ok I am a little confused, now you turn on the master battery switch then flip the all on switch then enter your code to unlock the system and the check engine light comes on and then you try to start the engine and nothing happens for 20 to 30 seconds?

      Correct.

Once the battery is on, the master switch to turn everything on is flipped. I enter the code, press start, which gets the accessories turned on. Once I try to press start again to start the engine, I get nothing for at least 20-30 seconds. Sometimes longer. The check engine light comes on, then goes away after that time frame.

Cant figure it out on my end. Any thoughts????
