    I can't believe I did this!

So I pulled my boat out of the garage with the sun deck up! It's a 2000 SAN with the hydraulic rear deck lift. The lift is still working but the bolts that bolt up to the deck pulled through and I have a small hole now. The bolts are bent so I know I need to replace those but their were nuts on the back sides of the holes holding the bolts in place. Any ideas on repairing this?

    Drag dude.

I would grind it out a bit with a dremel to get rid of the gel anywhere you will have contact. Take a little off around the edges and countersink the holes a little. It will not stick to gel as good as the fiberglass.

Get this West Systems repair pack:

You will need to figure out how they are anchored if at all. I am not sure how they are on mine, sorry.

    Good luck.

If that is fiberglass you can re glass or epoxy it. Or get a piece of aluminum plate and make a patch then bolt the hydro ram to it.

I think the aluminum patch plate is a great idea. I did exactly that with my glovebox lid.

Agree on the patch plate, it would look cleaner.

I feel for you man.....it happened to me last year with one of the v-drive doors. Luckily, I just had to replace the bracket.
