The prop on the team is different to the limited, does anyone know the size and pitch of the limiteds? or even pre team models?

Not sure on the size and pitch, but you're right about the prop on the Team being different. I can tell you that I am not happy with the prop on my Limited. It takes WAY too long to get going when I'm at full ballast and have more than a couple of people in the boat. I switched to the acme 644 on my SAN and it made a big difference. I run about 1500-1700 lbs. with 3-4 riders and the stock prop would take too long to get going. If I start running with more weight I'll go down in size again but for now this seems to be a good prop.

I read the review about the props and I'm still not sure which one I should get when I upgrade my prop. I have a '97 Super Sport and probably run about 1600 lbs. or so in it right now. Once I get my automatic ballast system set up, I would like to run closer to 2000 lbs. I'm just not sure whether to go with the 644 or the 856. Is running the 856 for anything besides wakeboarding hard on the boat because it's running at higher RPM's? I use my boat for about 90% wakeboarding and wakesurfing, but once in a while the family and friends want to tube or something, so we do that a little bit. Is the 644 not enough if I plan on running 2000 lbs.? Thanks for any input you can give me. My biggest thing is that I don't want to purchase one prop and then have to upgrade again later.2008 Super Air Nautique 210TE

When you say you’ll be running 2k of weight does that include people?
Are you currently running with the stock prop?
It’s a tough call. That’s a lot of weight. With that amount of weight, even with the 856, your going to notice the boat takes a bit to get on plane. Although if you’re used to running the original prop, the 644 will seem like a huge improvement.
I hardly ever run above 30 mph and typically when I’m just cruising from point A to point B I stay around 27-28mph. It does just fine for pulling the occasional slalom skier. If I consistently ran my boat above 30, I think I’d definitely drop back down to the 644.
This summer my use has pretty much been: 95% wakeboarding, 5% surfing, skiing, cruising

I am using the stock prop right now. I would probably run at least 1800 lbs. or so in just ballast. How fast do you think it's safe to run constantly with the 856? I will probably end up just going with the 644, because of those occasions when other people want to do something besides wakeboard. I'm sure that will be a huge improvement from the stock prop anyways. Thanks for the help and if you have any other suggestions or input, I would appreciate it.2008 Super Air Nautique 210TE

You’ll definitely notice a huge difference bumping up from the stock prop to the 644 and I would imagine that would probably suffice, especially if you engage in a variety of water sports. You won’t notice that much of a difference in RPMs going from stock to the 644. When I bumped up to the 644 I was extremely impressed and was pretty content with it. You won’t sacrifice that many RPMs and at the same time you’ll get a huge improvement on the hole shot and getting on a plane.
If you bump up to the 856 you’ll definitely notice a dramatic increase in RPMs.

No, I never really paid attention. That would have been a good thing to make note of. On the 856 I run through about 3/4-1 full tank per day. (A day being around 8 hours of water time, with the boat weighted at about 1500-2000 lbs.)

I havent been able to look at the numbers on the small comp prop ( its hard seeming im in canada till october) but we are getting the zr6 engine in the 05 so we will probally keep the standard prop on, until we do the moomba masters course which is really tight. We found we were happy with the team prop for social riding.

I like the Coke boat thing it's funny and the vanilla coke thing is funnier. I wish I bought a Nautique two years ago, maybe even at the expense of snow trips and getting drunk every weekend. The SAN is absolutely amazing, ran a 3/4 full bag in the belly locker and then a full bag on bow seats with stock tanks + 100kgs of lead in the rear with three guys in the boat it was like nothing I had ridden before. Must of been pretty big when Hank had it loaded. My mates who are reasonably advanced riders cant stop talking about it. Just means I stack it from higher up. Happy days.
Back to the prop side of it, the stock prop has us sitting on about 2900 rpm at riding speed. Suprises me how well it jumps out of the water, I wasn't all that impressed at the test drive so it has been a nice suprise.
