This may be a dumb question but when you mount tower speakers are you to bolt the clamps directly to the tower, or is there something that you wrap on the tower before putting on the clamp...ex a rubber material.
most tower clamps bolt right onto the tower. my ws's came with a little rubber insert to fit diff. towers and also a rubber adhesive wrap for if your tubing just fits the clamp. it's really your choice, but if they are not on very tight they could scratch the tower. im sure if you call earmark marine they will tell you the best thing to use. or just order some wet sounds, from ear mark
I like to use 1/4" high density rubber between the clamps and the tower. Kind of works like shock absorbers, the material density does need to be pretty high.
