    First Mantinence

I am sure its already been on here, but for a quick answer I wanted to know what oil everyone is using the PCM 5.7 Engine, where you go to get it and what filter (number also).

On first service (25 hours) do I need to change out all the transmission and v drive fluids?

I have always done the engine mantinence on our other boats but I want to make sure I start with this one right.

This is for a 08 210 Team with the 343 engine. Thanks in advance.

    Bump.

Has anyone else performed their 25 hour?

Also, how often do you replace your fuel filter and with what part number?

    Thanks

Highrock, PCM recommends 15w-40 in most cases unless you op[erate the engine below 50 degrees. And they also recommend replacing the trans fluid at this time. And yes it would be good practice to replace the inline filter at this time as sometimes debris from building the boat gets in the tank and it is flushed into the filter. I can not remember the number off the top of my head but it is a stainless steel 3/8 inlet 3/8 outlet inline fuel filter.

highrock...have you read your PCM owner's / service manual?

Sounds like you haven't. Read it and you will become more informed. Then you can ask some more appealing questions that folks here will respond to.

For your trivia question, I use Mobil Delvac 1300 15w40. It is NOT synthetic.
