    Exhaust Hose Leaking under motorbox

I overheated my engine on the first trip out this summer. After I got it going again with a new impeller I noticed that I now have a small amount of water and exhaust gas escaping from where the fiberglass riser goes into the rubber hose that connects the riser with the manifold. It is on the starboard manifold only. When it got hot, I must have melted the fiberglass or rubber so that there is no longer a good seal. I tried tightening the clamps on the rubber but it did not seal it back up. What is the best fix for this and does it hurt to run it like this in the meantime?

probably won't hurt it but, would suggest fixing it. Could be the hose or the fiberglass exhaust. Hose replacement is real easy and if the fiberglass exhaust is cracked or broken that can be fixed with some fiberglass and resin.
Shouldn't be that difficult to fix.
