Perko FlushPro - where to install?

OK all you experts,

I just purchased a FlushPro for my model year 2001 Ski Nautique. I see 3 possible locations to mount it.

1. between the water intake and the water stainer
2. between the strainer and the transmission cooler
3. between the transmission cooler and the water pump

Which is the best location so it isn't touching the engine or near something that gets very hot.

I put mine between the intake and the water strainer on my 99 Air DD. I have not used it yet, but I have had no problems running my boat... and no leaks yet.

No 1 is where mine is, it is pretty wide open there so makes accessing easy.

Throw it in the trash and don't use it all but if you insist, Do #1. Make sure everything goes through the strainer prior to entering engine. Just my two cents.
