    Newbie Electric help

    Guys

Ive just bought a 1994 Ski Nautique which is in pretty poor condition. This did reflect in the price.

It has a pretty bad electrical problem. Well nothing works at all.Ive got 12v upto the starter relay but after that nothing. The dash is completely dead as is the the pins on the rear on the ingnition key.

Ive had a look in the wiring diagram section but due to my ignorance i guess i cant find a diagram to suit my boat.

    Can anyone assist.??

    thnak you in advance

dont think so.got 12v upto starter relay.Thats the only wire coming off the the battery and heads towards the rear of the boat to a relay box thing on rear of engine .

Which motor? But check the 60 amp breaker on the engine first then check the ignition breaker on the dash to see if you have power to the dash.

Sorted now, someone had tried to re work the rear of the dash and got all the connector muddled up.

So problem sorted ,just the PCM coil pack is dead now, deep joy and it would seem there is no way of getting a one for one swap.Looks like a ignition upgrade will be taking place.

thanks for the advice though fellas
