Hydraulic Lift 1995 SS Nautique

I am having issues with the hydraulic lift on the back engine area. It appears that when ever the radio is on it will not engage and go up. It starts to click when i hit the button down, but not up. When i take the radio out or turn the power to the radio the lift works.

Another thing to note is that on the rare occasion when i hit the up button and the hatched raised up it would always turn the radio off.

Any help would be great.

Battery is low and/or your alternator is not throwing enough juice. Does your radio cut out when you turn on the Nav lights as well?
