Depends. Does it have actual trans fluid in it now or light 20wt motor oil? You'll know if it has a red tint to it or not. These older boats sometimes just used the 20wt. I have always had 20wt in mine. If it actually has red trans fluid in it then we'll go from there- I don't know the exact type.

M3 has it right about the 20wt oil or tranny fluid.
If it has red fluid, you can change with dextron 3, as it replaces dextron 2 without any problems. If its not red, stick with the 20wt oil.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower

If it is currently trans fluid, keep it that way. 20wt has no advantages. For the borg warner trans I don't know what the fluid is. Probably Dextron III or something. It won't really matter that much which one.
