    Hard water spots on windshield

My '82 SN model 2001 has a new windshield.

We just got back from Lake Shasta and found hard water spots all over the glass. I used the usual cleaner. The older side-panels of glass came clean, but the windshield still has spots. I tried Windex, but that didn't work either.

    Any suggestions?

Vinegar & Water, or a little Windex. Then wipe them down with newspaper. Just make sure you use a mostly black and white piece and not one with a lot of color. It's amazing how well it cleans them up.

Use Rain-X on the windshield once a year and you won't have any trouble with water spots on the glass. Water will just roll right off and your window will be clean. If you do get hard spots they come right off with Vinegar and water.
